1930's renovated tourist cabin. All interior is newly renovated during the past three years. One of a group of nine tourist cabins which are the only remaining 1930's tourist cabins that have continuously operated as nightly rentals in Kansas. Cable, 50mb internet, shower, mini fridge, microwave and refrigerated air and electric heat pump heat. Outside deck for relaxing. All located in a small town of 1000 on historic US highway 24 in north central Kansas. Waconda lake is 6-8 miles east. 13,000 acres of water and 12,500 acres of public land surrounding the lake.
Our farmhouse sits on 15 acres in the country just 5 miles south of Waconda Lake (aka Glen Elder Reservoir). Guests will have access to one bedroom, bathroom, and the large living area in the basement with a separate entrance. The owners live upstairs, but we are pretty quiet. There is ample room to park small and large vehicles/boats during your stay. This is the ideal space for hunters, lake-goers, overflow visitors from out of town, or anyone coming to the area for a brief stay.
