You'll prepare 4 different Cretan family’s recipes in an outdoor cooking space. Our ingredients are pure and natural, with most sourced directly from our family farm. You'll learn cooking techniques from mama Stella, our specialist in traditional Cretan cuisine. All the equipment and your personal apron will be provided by us. It's a 100% hands-on cooking experience! Local homemade refreshments and water will provided, too. In the end of our experience, you will enjoy your own creations with some local wine. Moreover, the leftovers will be packed and you can take them with you! Immerse yourself in this unique, 3.5 to 4-hour experience at our olive oil farm. This experience was created to awaken your artistic side, as well as, delight your senses. Offered here is exclusive access to two very unique worlds of art and flavour. You and a group of friends will learn about the ancient technique of jewellery making through sand casting while enjoying the tastes of an award-winning Cretan boutique winery. Found nowhere else in Greece, this workshop is a hands-on experience for up to a maximum of 10 attendees including yourself. You will be taught the ancient art of sand casting and with your choice of silver (.925) or gold (10k, 14k, 18k) you will cast and polish a beautiful piece of jewellery to keep. This workshop will take place at the picturesque Manousakis winery, located just outside of Chania city. Here you will be surrounded by Cretan nature and indulge in the fine crafted wines and winery grown foods. The entire experience will take.place outside in a well ventilated area. All Covid-19 safety precautions will be in place to make sure all guests are comfortable and safe. Included in the booking fee is your 4-5 hours of instructed workshop time. All of the tools needed for casting and polishing. Finally, you will be given organic wine produced on site and fresh locally grown snacks on our break. Other things to note The fee includes the instructor and all tools needed. Also the snack and wine provided by Manousakis winery. Additional fees will apply for final silver or gold used. We will walk and guide you to the center of the city. Since I am Cretan and having lived most of my life in Crete, I know everything about Greek culture, Cretan traditions and interesting facts and beliefs about Crete. You will be surprised about the facts and myths that surround this wonderful island. Of course, I will show you what locals like and where they go when they go out. As you can see by looking at my social media accounts, I am a professional photographer and I want to immortalize your memories of Heraklion. So, I will take you to picturesque (and of course instagrmable) locations and capture beautiful photos of you. Of course, we will be able to organize a professional couple photoshoot or even plan your wedding proposal and have a photographer there to shoot it. If you have a group bigger than five people, contact me. After we have finished our experience, I will send you your pictures via WeTransfer! I will also edit your favourite ones with Photoshop and send them to you in a few days. Εκτός από τη γευσιγνωσία ελαιολάδου, στον χώρο προσφέρεται γευσιγνωσία κρασιού, μελιού και ρακής. Στις εσωτερικές εγκαταστάσεις μπορείτε να παρακολουθήσετε ζωντανά τη διαδικασία παραγωγής, συσκευασίας και τυποποίησης μιας σειράς φρέσκων φρούτων (διαφορετικά νωπά προϊόντα ανάλογα με την εποχή) και αγροτικών προϊόντων (εξαιρετικά παρθένο ελαιόλαδο, σταφίδα). Στις εξωτερικές εγκαταστάσεις μπορείτε να περιηγηθείτε σε κρητικούς αμπελώνες και ελαιώνες, κάνοντας μια στάση για λίγη ρακή μέσα στο χωράφι. Ακόμα, να ανοίξετε την πόρτα του παραδοσιακού μετοχιού μας και ξαποστάστε σε ένα γνήσια κρητικό οίκημα. They will enjoy their breakfast with an amazing view with organic products that came from our land. . They will taste fresh fruits and vegetables from our orchard, various fresh season juices like pomegranate,orange,lemon. They also taste local fresh hot bread and other traditional bakes from carob and other local ingredients. They will taste our traditional famous dish ntakos! Also included traditional homemade cheeses that my family makes from our small goat farm. My mum also will prepare some of her famous traditional cheese pies or pies with local season greens. In the traditional cretan breakfast also included fresh eggs from our chicken farm,nuts from our orchard, the best cretan honey,tahini,greek yoghurt, all accompanied with greek coffee with loukoumi!!! also you can visit the farm to see where the products came from.

At our farm, every child and adult will get the chance of becoming a stock breeder and a cheese maker for a day! You'll meet all the domestic animals of our farm, our goats, sheep, dogs, cats, hens and geese, partridges as well as our colorful peacocks. You could feed, pet and take photos with them. Thereafter, you could watch and take part in the two distinct ways of milking goats and sheep: the traditional way, using only the hands, as well as the modern way of milking. You will be informed on how to breed and care for our animals, their usefulness and all the products, which we're able to produce, using their milk. Next stop is our family cheese cottage, where you'll get useful information on the production of traditional Cretan cheeses and desserts, which we produce using the milk from our farm, while at the same time, together we will make one of them. Upon fulfilling this experience, a special treat awaits you outside of our cheese cottage. You taste our Feta, the Tiromalama-a local goat's cheese-, our handmade puddings made from sheep and goat milk. Traditional cretan raki and wine couldn't be missing! We offer cooking lessons in Krousonas village. Super family friendly! The programme last at least 4 hours. Firstly we will welcome you with some cretan delights and refreshments . We will discuss the menu and you can choose from the season options(vegan or not) what would you like to cook. Secondly we will visit the farm , we will feed the goats and sheeps and if its summer probably you can also milk the goats! In continue when you choose menu (vegan or not) we go to gather our organic vegetables from our orchard, you wiil have time to explore nature, breath fresh air, learn important information about the plant and of course live the experience cutting the fresh vegetables and fruit. When we collect our vegetables , we learn how we use every ingredient in our kitchen, how does it help our health, about the appropriate quantities we use and we start to how prepare our meal and how we cook. You will learn all the secrets of cretan cuisine with us . (It depends from the season you can also taste and watch the production of cheese.) When the meal is ready you can enjoy it in our veranda relaxing with the amazing view. A travel to history, nature and cretan cuisine.Dont forget to wear comfortable shoes and clothes. Sarakina Gorge, hiking and river trekking! A canyon full of ponds and only some climbing points, make this experience an ideal option for an adventure! What is really impressive is the large quantity of water almost all year round, that forms very beautiful waterfalls and ponds, ideal for swimming, even in summer. In winter, it is impossible to cross the gorge without getting wet. We start our adventure just 5 minutes after Mythoi village where we meet the gorge entrance. It takes about 1 to 1,5 hours to walk and climb up; in some parts you have to walk through the water, climb over rocks, or use the ropes that they put there to pull yourself up. During the trekking, we will have plenty of time for swimming under the freezing waterfalls wich makes it ideal for summer period! Its length reaches only 1.5km, but during this short course the visitor will meet an amazing wonder of the Cretan nature, a natural sculpture formed by water in millions of years. Sarakina has imposing walls reaching 150m height while Its width ranges from 3 to 10 meters, with only a few points exceeding that. The gorge area is also ideal for bird watching since there are plenty of species living and building their nests on the gorge's walls. We will make traditional cretan cheese! Fistly, we will get the fresh milk from goats .My father will show the way his mother taught him to make original cheese from goat fresh milk . We will use pure and natural products and we will see the different types of cheeses(the development growth).

The experience named " Play With Clay". It's 3 hours of creative activity making ceramics by hand building and trying at the ceramic's wheel with our help. After 3 days they can take the ceramics that they made burned. If the time is not enough we can ship them. Other things to note You may be dirty but the cleaning is easy only with water.

The goal of the excursion is to explore the river with the largest amount of water in the whole island of Crete, to discover its wetland with dozens of turtles, numerous fish and birds that inhabit this strange river, whose water is sweet in winter and brackish in summer. In the past, water mills used to operate here to grind the local grain. The mystery of its waters is that scientists are still not sure of their origin. We start the excursion at the beach of Ammoudara and head upstream southwest towards the source of the river. The waters of the river are quite deep and crystal clear and to the right and left are reeds and a variety of trees and plants, including clusters of the characteristic Cretan palm (Phoenix theophrasti), which is found mainly in Crete. At the background of the river, the top of the 800 m Stroumboulas mountain can be seen, named after the famous Sicilian volcano Stromboli, as well as the Almyros gorge. We paddle through the river for about 1500 meters and then return to the beach of Ammoudara, where we will taste together the local Cretan delicacies with local wine.
