On this overnight adventure, we leave Cape Town in the morning and depart for the Cederberg region. We stop for lunch underway and proceed to our lodge, a tented camp and lodge set up in the middle of nowhere (we are serious about the nowhere). We unpack in our spacious tented rooms or in our cabin (small surcharge) and meet for an afternoon hike to elephant rock. The rock looks exactly like a massive elephant. If we are very lucky we may encounter Cape Leopards, the chance is very slim. We return and relax by the pool Just in time for sunset we will climb up a massive rock (for those of us without vertigo!) and enjoy a spectacular sunset together, as well as the ancient rock art painted on the cliffs. We return to the lodge for a delicious home cooked meal and rest. On the second day we will hike to a big, natural pool. Bring your towel and a bathing costume. Even if tempted, please be safe and do not jump from the cliffs. We return, have a late lunch on our way back to Cape Town and arrive in the late afternoon.
