This amazing Mexican Medicinal Fermentation Workshop will be HANDS-ON and while we are chopping, mixing and learning about our veggies I will be talking a lot about fermentation so that you can have a better understanding of all the health benefits, the way it transforms the food into maximum nutrition - which helps detoxify our bodies and also helps our GUT get new and very healthy bacteria (the gut is so important for a healthy immune system).

I will teach you all the process and we can make it at the same time:

1. Sauerkraut - cabbage, onion, garlic, carrot, turmeric, ginger, salt, chili, and much more...

2. Fermented Ketchup - tomato canned sauce, kefir or kombucha and many interesting spices

3. Fermented Carrot sticks & spices - this one will teach you how to ferment all veggies!!


4. Kvass - A soda like drink made with beetroot :)

Do not worry, once you book the experience you will receive a list of the exact ingredients (and alternatives) and the amount you need in order to make these delicious ferments.

I want each and everyone of you to use what is available to you, what is local, and not only because of these quarantine times, but because this is the way it should always be. The food that grows where we live is the food that our bodies need, nature is wise and we can learn to use it and work with it wisely. I will share alternatives for veggies or spices.

Hello lovely community from around the world! My name is Yasamin and I am half Mexican, half Iranian, I was born in Germany and now I am living in the charming city of Mérida in Yucatan. I am passionate about FERMENTATION and this passion has been transforming and blossoming into a new way of living and nurturing myself and my family.

It all started when I was living in Bali and became ill with a typhoid infection and then anemia, this is when I was recommended to start eating and drinking lots of fermented foods like sauerkraut, kimchi, kombucha, kefir...I could not stop eating all of these new amazing flavours.

This journey has allowed me to learn so much about nutrition, the food industry, the best ways to buy and prepare our food, oh and I also started my own small Kombucha brand and sell a small weekly production :)

What a wonderful class! Yasamin is knowledgeable, kind, and a great instructor. She was so welcoming and a great teacher I felt like I was taking a class with friends. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone who wants to know a more about health and actually create products!

Yasamin is an amazing host. She is very welcoming and personable. It was a very fun and informative workshop. We were able to accomplish so much in 1.5 hours. While chatting, we did sauerkraut, ketchup, kvass, fermented garlic. If there will be a follow up to this workshop, I will definitely take it.

I had a great time with Yasamin in her fermentation experience. The class was fun and also very educative. She elaborated to explain why it is good to eat fermented foods and her story was convincing as she learnt it from her own experience. Her experience would be perfect for those who are seeking the wellness from the diet.

I loved Yasamin's class! She is very knowledgeable about fermentation and seamlessly led the class from one recipe to the next. I never felt rushed and you can tell that she is super passionate about what she is teaching. She is very patient and willing to answer any questions you may have about fermentation. The recipes are also amazing and I can't wait to start eating them all. To top it off, Yasamin effortlessly taught the class in both English and Spanish, which was so impressive. I can't say enough good things! Definitely a great way to spend the afternoon.

Fermenting with Yasamin was really great. She was extremely knowledgeable and we made a number of dishes that I would not have expected. It was also wonderful to connect to someone in a different country/culture during a time when we are so isolated.
