This experience is an immersive township visit to the vibrant Imizamo Yethu settlement in Hout Bay. You will interact with the locals, visit local project like Iziko Lobomi, where you can buy craft, they charge R30 for entrance. We will visit a youth project Sakhisizwe YDP where you will be entertained by music/dance or soccer. We will walk the streets of Imizamo Yethu and end off at Mama Mirriam's B&B where we will experience local food tasting. This will be an experience to remember.

My name is Mhinti Pato I'm a founder of Sakhisizwe Youth Development Project and Impilo Yethu, an inclusive tourism social enterprise. I've worked in Hout Bay, Imizamo Yethu for more than 10 years in community development and empowering young people with skills that will help them for their future. I'm a registered tour guide and love interacting and meeting new people. I love running, hiking, cycling, swimming and reading. I will donate 10% towards SakhisizweYDP from the profits of all my tours. Lihle Ngece, Lelothando Bokuba and Sihle Krishe are my co host. If I can't do this experience they will do it on my behalf. We will meet near the police station. I will make the introductions, and then we'll walk to Iziko le Bomi Community Centre where you can buy drinks, coffee, craft and interact with locals R30 entrance. We will walk up and visit more community project and businesses around the township.. Please do bring extra cash to support community projects and businesses.
