- This trip allows you to see the Rainbow Mountains, You will see small villages, beautiful adobe style houses, herds of llamas and alpacas and you will have magnificent views of the Ausangate Mountain (6,385 m / 20,945 ft.), the highest mountain in Cusco region. ***To start this beautiful journey we will pick you up from your hotel at 03:30 am. to move to the eastern part of Cusco, we will drive in a VAN for 2 hours aprox. until a small town called Japura(in this place we will have the breakfast). After the breakfast we will continuous 1 hour more until the camp to get the ATVs. We will teach you in 5 minuts how is the use of ATVs(is easy). Once everybody learn how to use it we will drive the ATVs for 40 minuts until Qosqopata. Since Qosqopata we will walk 30 minuts to reach the rainbow mountain, once here we will have enough time to take picture and then back with the same way we came, later our lunch will wait for us and returning Cusco arriving at 04:30 pm aprox.(dropp of will be close the main square). *** If I do not attend this experience, my cousin Beto or one of my friends will come (sometimes I cannot attend because it is very tiring do this activity). - Our Cusco Culinary cooking experience starts at San Pedro Market (at door number 1), with a visit to this historical and traditional local market. We will try some of the most exotic fruits of Peru, the best chocolate, local cheeses, and traditional bread. After that, we will walk to our cooking studio, a traditional house from 1922, that is part of the world heritage Cusco center. We start our cooking classes preparing the national drink of Peru , pashion fruit pisco sour. Then, we prepare three traditional peruvian exquisite dishes and a delicious dessert. Our class is full hands on and you will take part in all the preparation. After you we finish we will enjoy all the food and you will have a great peruvian meal. Our dishes are easy to be converted into vegetarian , so if you are vegetarian or Vegan this is the perfect class for you. After the class we will also send you the recepies, so then you can share your new talent, as a Peruvian chef, with your family and friends. - Muy temprano en el horario establecido(4:00 a 4:30 am approx), pasaremos por su hotel para hacer el recojo e iniciar nuestra aventura a la Montaña de 7 colores. Viajaremos durante 2 horas en nuestro transporte turístico hasta llegar al pueblo de Cusipata donde disfrutaremos de un desayuno consistente. Luego de nuestro desayuno tomaremos un desvío para viajar por 1 hora más hasta el campamento base en Pulawasipata, donde dejaremos el transporte y por 10 minutos nos prepararemos para iniciar la caminata. Caminaremos por aproximadamente 1 hora y media hasta llegar a la Montaña de 7 Colores. En la ruta encontraremos gran cantidad de camélidos sudamericanos acompañados de sus pastores, moradores del lugar con sus trajes típicos coloridos. Llegaremos a la Montaña Arco Iris ubicado a 5020 msnm, tendremos un tiempo prudente para tomar las fotografías del recuerdo y disfrutar del paisaje, desde allí también podremos observar, de forma imponente, el nevado Ausangate, el nevado más alto del Cusco. Más tarde retornaremos por el mismo camino hasta nuestro vehículo y despues volveremos hasta Cusipata para tener nuestro delicioso almuerzo buffet. Luego del almuerzo retornaremos a la ciudad del Cusco, donde nuestro transporte nos llevará hasta el centro de la ciudad, llegando a este a las 4:30 pm aproximadamente. - You will spend half a day in the community of Maras! (Maras is near the known Maras Salt Mines). Here, I will wait for you at the meeting point (which is Maras Main Square) and I will teach you different ceramic techniques to mold beautiful art pieces. You can mold your own pieces with Andean designs or your own creations, and take them home as souvenirs of this amazing experience. Other things to note The experience is not in Cusco Center, is in Maras, Sacred Valley. but you can take public transport or a taxi to come here!
