The cottage was built in 1973 and it has the infamous retro brown paneling, a throw back in time, it is comfortable, with direct private lake access steps from the cottage, across a low traffic road, great views of the lake from the cottage and beautiful sunsets. Enjoy the warmer waters of an in-land lake, and great fishing. Come and enjoy beautiful Mantoulin Island and one of its most beautiful lakes, Lake Mindemoya.

Whether you arrive on Manitoulin via our beautiful, historic swing bridge or as a passenger aboard the ChiCheemaun ferry, once you are on the Island, time really does slow down and it is our hope that you will too.
Cedar Cabin in the WoodsBuilt in 2018, our off-grid cedar cabin is tucked away in a mixed woodland on beautiful Manitoulin Island. It is uniquely decorated with antiques, thrift store finds and handicrafts collected from our travels around the world as far as Africa, Japan, Costa Rica and Canada’s Arctic. Our space is an inviting space to unwind, unplug and wake up to the sounds of the birds after enjoying the stars on a clear night.
