Komalakotam Court is the traveller’s ideal stay, where modern comfort meets local life. A refurbished historical family home in the heart of Trincomalee is suitable for solo travellers, couples and families with comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, WIFI & amenities tailored for international travellers. Its prime location, easy access to local bus station, warm beaches, markets, historical & religious sights, with recommendation for sea activities by internationally qualified diving instructor.

Ο χώρος
Komalakotam Court is comfortable, modern, clean and traditional house which is a rare find in Tricomalee. There are two suites and four rooms - please see our other listing. North Suite has a separate sitting area apart from the bedroom. North Suite has three single beds, lock-up wardrobe, attached private bathroom with toilet, shower and wash basin along with a light-filled seating area without hotwater shower.
North Suite can accommodate up to 3 guests. It has a single bed in its sitting room which can accommodate the 3rd person. We will provide linen and pillow for the extra person booked.
There is a common dining area with refrigerator, toaster and electric kettle. We also have plates and cutlery for your convenience. You are welcome to use the terrace upstairs in this resort style accommodation. Please communicate with us if you are looking for parking on site at a nominal cost per day/night as we have limited number of parking.
We could provide a cot for a baby with a net along with a thick plastic bath basin in the bathroom on request.

Komalakotam is housed in a quieter residential area but a few metres away from the central business district of Trincomalee. Guests will not definitely disappointed for choosing Komalakotam. Guests may pay visit to the fresh food market. An outlet of Ajit Bakery within the market provides bread, curry buns, sugar buns etc. Hoppers from Bismillah and crispy savoury doughnuts from Annapoorani restaurants were also recommended by many of our guests. Coop City and Food city are the two outlets trying provide services similar to the general super markets.

Your hosts, Siv and Gow, have been living between Australia and Srilanka over the last 30 years. Both have been involved in a number of charity projects in Australia, and now have reached out to give back to the community that raised them. Livihood Trincomalee was established in 2016 with the purpose of providing equal access to education, employment and good environment for local people. The guest house provides support in the running of the charity projects whilst employing and training locals and encouraging local businesses. Gow and Siv are in fluent English and have a fountain of local knowledge on places to go and see as well as the history of the town.
Siv is a vibrant and active man with a passion for gardening, movies and music. Gow is a teacher with a kind nature, flair for culture and has many passions for food, people and traveling. During the day time she will be attending to charity project needs but will always go out of her way to ensure that you have the best experience Trinco has to offer, during their stay in Trincomalee.
