Tumu Ora Bungalows has a Bungalow and a Studio, $250/night for both up to 6 guests, both with private kitchen and bathroom.The Bungalow rate alone is $150/night.The Studio is only available together with the Bungalow. Rates for additional guests will be provided based on the number of guests and ages if there are children.

Ο χώρος
Tumu Ora, Tree of Life, is named for the ancient banyan tree at the center of these historic grounds of the Huahine royal family, revered by the Huahine community. Swimming, snorkeling, paddling, diving and fishing are all right there to enjoy in the lagoon. (Surfing is discouraged) Or, you can lounge around on the beach, dock, garden or hammock and do nothing! It is conveniently located adjacent to Fare Town where markets, shopping, dining, banks, Post Office and the harbor are a relaxing stroll away.

The Tumu Ora property is the location for Mahana Dive, www.MahanaDive.com, providing dive and boating tours right off the dock with wonderful Annie and Kimitete.
Next door is a classic, tiny, old world French distillery specializing in exotic, local fruits and nuts. Lovely to drink and special gifts!
The dispensary (hospital) is a nearby neighbor, handy in the event of an urgent medical need.
In Fare Town bikes, boards, kayaks and boats can be rented from Jean Luc at Huahine Lagoon, found on Facebook. Scooters and cars all also available.

A special message to travelers from me, Lisa Starr, the owner~
COVID-19 Precautions~
Tumu Ora Bungalows is following the AIRBnB COVID-19 Safety Guidelines. The bungalows will be vacant for 2 days prior to check-ins. COVID-19 cleaning and sanitizing standards will be used between guests. Cleaning supplies and face masks will be available for guests. Staff will use face masks and keep distance.
Huahine has had zero COVID-19 cases and French Polynesia COVID-19 cases have been very low.as of July 16, 2020.

In January a guest at Tumu Ora Bungalows was the victim of an unfortunate, and rare theft one evening. This guest, Erick, wrote a description of this and of his view of the lack of security at Tumu Ora Bungalows and in the area. Much of what he wrote is inaccurate. I do respect that Erick's incident was upsetting to him and his wife however, Tumu Ora Bungalows has security measures in place- locking safe rooms, a safe and motion detecting lights. The Police Station is nearby, the manager is vigilant about security and trespassing and the lovely neighbors are watchful. With care, belongings can be kept out of reach should there be the rare case of a trespasser on the property. Erick's view that the villagers look suspicious and about "local delinquents victimizing tourists" saddens me the most. The Huahine locals are honest, good people. Our neighbors are friendly and protective and Huahine has very little crime. Dozens of guests have had wonderful, safe vacations at Tumu Ora Bungalows and around Huahine. And the guests that stayed after his departure have also had an enjoyable and safe stay. PS Always take the same precaution with valuables that you would anywhere ...
