Beautifully handcrafted cabins with full kitchen and private bath/shower, overlook the scenic Matanuska River Valley. These cabins have two queen beds and a full size pull out sleeper sofa, table, chairs, and a deck with chairs. Enjoy spectacular views of the Matanuska River Valley and Chugach Mountains.

Ο χώρος
There are over 10 miles of trails leaving from the Lodge perfect for exploring. Birds and wildflowers abound. Maps are provided in each cabin for self-guided hiking. In the fall (mid-August), wild berries such as blueberries, low bush cranberries, and crowberries can be found in great numbers.
Our guests usually enjoy soaking in the hot tub with mountain views, followed by a BBQ or fire in the large Gazebo behind the lodge.

Our lodge is located a short 12 miles from access to the Matanuska Glacier. Spend a few hours exploring the glacier on your own or take a guided hike to see the glacier’s wondrous features with expert guides. Vehicle access to the Matanuska Glacier trailhead is found at milepost 102. Note: there is a $25 per person fee charged by the private landowner for access.
