This cozy little cottage is an updated 1914 Craftsman style home that is just the right size for the single person, couples or small families (4 people) while visiting this historical area. It is perfect for the businessman/woman that need a short stay or for an extended time. After a long day of driving, touring or business, you will want a comfy place to come home to.
Hollyhock Cottage was originally purchased from a catalog. It features the classic Craftsman home columns and curio cabinet/bookcase so unique to the Craftsman design. This Craftsman includes the following:
The new kitchen has all the essentials and has an adjoining original pantry/broom closet.
The washer and dryer are in a curtained space in the kitchen.
There is one bathroom with a shower only. It adjoins the bedroom #1 that has a queen bed. This bedroom features a closet, 6 drawers and laundry hamper; a linen cabinet with a drawer to store extra pillows, blankets, towels/linens, and an antique sit-down vanity that the ladies are sure to like.
Bedroom #2 is a very small room with a trundle bed. The bottom of the trundle fits a child, but an adult can also be accommodated in a pinch.

The Chamber of Commerce is located in the old historic Hardin Train Depot.
The Big Horn County Museum complex is within one mile. It has a gift shop with a variety of things that are in this area, and books about this historic area. The museum and surrounding building are considered one of the best in the state.
When you come to Hardin, the most popular place to visit is the site of General George Custer's battle of the Little Big Horn. This historical place is on the Crow reservation 15 miles south of Hardin. Guided and self tours are available.

The Yellowtail dam and recreational area is within 50 miles with beautiful scenery at Oke-he-beh where you can rent pontoon boats and view this beautiful afterbay area.
