“Polar Caves Park is a set of glacially-formed caves located in New Hampshire's White Mountains region, in the United States. The caves were formed from granite boulders and are so named because the deepest cave is cold enough to allow snow to linger long into the summer. The caves are a popular tourist destination.”

“One of the most remarkable summer venues on the east coast. Why? Its a park on the water. Its top quality acts are seen by voluntary donation. Its big enough to feature superb and eclectic artists and small enough to feel like you really saw them. There are also films and a musical that runs the season. Get there early and lay down a blanket to reserve your spot or "rent a spot"- the website explains how. ”

“A 19th century fort with hiking trails and picnicking areas overlooking Pepperrell Cove. A modest donation is on the honor system. Spend the afternoon at the fort then head over to Frisbee's Wharf for drinks and al fresco dinner.”

“Beautiful place for a coastal walk/hike. If you go in the morning before 10am you will avoid the park entrance fee (when applicable). TIP: walk through gate and head down the road, take first left, go to end of road and take another left, a little wats down and the ocean is on your right. Walk the coastal path all the way to the end and then take a right which will lead you back to the gate. *COVID UPDATE: there is no parking signs along the road outside the gate (not sure why). You can park on the road right before the signs begin and it just adds a little extra to your walk :)”
