Cullercoats bay is a natural harbour with shallow water so it's great for kids. There are some lovely cafe's and a fish and chip shop overlooking the bay. The sheltered harbour is great for paddle boarding and kayaking, check out local business CBK (Cullercoats Bike and Kayak) for hiring options.

Another great coastal walk with some nice pubs at the end. Seaton Sluice also has a huge wild beach which is always less busy than other local beaches.
