We are lucky to have the world famous Bodnant Garden right on our doorstep. Set on a hillside, the garden’s 80 acres drop dramatically from manicured lawns flower-filled terraces, through wildflower meadows and shrub borders, into dramatic riverside dells. With year-round colour the garden can be enjoyed at any time. Even better, dogs on short leads are welcome (Thursday to Sunday only)!

Regarded as one of the finest Tudor houses in Wales, the castle was formerly the ancestral home of the powerful Wynn family. By 1994, the house and garden had fallen into dereliction. Its restoration has taken over twenty years to complete and is still a work-in-progress by its current owners. Deeply evocative and atmospheric, it is a unique experience in country house visiting.
