This is a great place for Sydney style cocktails - think unique margaritas at a Sydney cocktail price. I mostly love coming here for the atmosphere on the water, you can take your dog and I love their food. They have a permanent food truck with some small sized food options.
Go to spring rolls or fish fingers and the coconut magarita.

I believe this is the best Thai in Port. The price point is cheap, large servings and the pad Thai is just super yummy. I’ve also had Singapore noodles, fried rice and spring rolls which are all great too. You can only takeaway from here though.

Another favourite lunchtime option. Not for the atmosphere or location but they do lunch specials and I love the vegetarian bipimbap. Good prices and good food. Has a combo of Korean and Japanese food.

If you want a takeaway, yum and partially healthier lunch, this is your spot. They aren’t open weekends though so this is a weekday option only for food. The potato croquette salad pack with beetroot aioli is to die for. The pumpkin salad and greens and grains are my salad pack choices.

Newly opened gin distillery in the industrial estate, conveniently located a few stores down from Moore Beer. Great little space. Unique local botanticals with some great labelling. Sightseeing
Two options, drive to the top and take in the view of the coastline on a clear day or if you love a steep incline of a walk, why not park at the bottom, in laurienton and walk to the top and back down (or have someone drop you at one end). As I said, very steep and not for the faint hearted or bad knees.

North Brother Mountain Track

As I said, very steep and not for the faint hearted or bad knees.
You can start at the lighthouse or town beach. It’s about 9km in one direction. It has great views of the coastline and takes you down onto some beaches and through bits of bush. The lighthouse end is a bit more up and down then the town beach end. Very achievable walk for your average fit person. You can also just do any part of the walk between any of the beaches if you don’t want to commit to the full thing. Access to water and toilets along the way. The only annoying thing is you can’t take dogs along the walk as some is classified as national parks and some beaches are not dog friendly. You can get around this by deviating onto the road and continuing along the road at sections before rejoining a footpath. Great walk for dolphin and whale sightings.
