Valpo's most famous touristic area and historical district. You'll find plenty of good food spots, cobblestone alleyways, colourful houses and street art. This neighbourhood is a short 15 minute walk away – take a left out the front gate and keep walking until you get there!

Viña del Mar is Valparaiso's neighbouring city, but the two could not be more different. It's worth the 25 minute bus ride over to Viña, which has a long stretch of beach and high-rise apartments. The city has a more resorty and upmarket feel to it than Valpo. To get there, take bus 612 which stops just outside the apartment.

This is well away from the touristic centre of Valparaiso but worth it to watch the lively colony of sea lions just metres away from the shore and great views of Valparaiso's hills from the sea. There's also a great fish market nearby and seafood restaurants on the sand.
