The Castle of Mey was the late Queen Mother's favourite Scottish castle where she spent a lot of time. Fairy tale castle with lovely gardens and a super café and gift shop. Well worth a visit.

Take a photo by the famous sign and have lunch in one of the many food outlets. Nearby Duncansby Head gives spectacular views of the famous stacks , out to the islands of Orkney.
