There are two locations for the Getty Museums in LA. Personally I love this one more because the garden is bigger and there are more contemporary arts. This location is also closer to the city and it is a very great place for picnic.

They do a great job collecting old and new films for rent. Great selection and location. They also have many foreign films available. You would love this place if you are a film student!

Sightseeing
Italian-inspired artificial canals built in 1905, with sidewalks & bridges for pedestrians. Very quiet and lovely neighborhood. Parking can be hard to find but it is worth the visit!

Certified Ashtanga Yoga teacher Noah Williams is teaching Mysore style Ashtanga as taught to him by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. He is also holding led class on Sunday mornings. New students are expected to come every day M-F at 7am for the entire month. If you are unable to come at 7am on Friday, you must come the following month or a month when you can start on Noah’s first day of teaching for that month.

Large natural area with many picnic tables & barbecue pits, plus hiking trails & open space. There is a pond sits next to the hiking trail. It shows up very unexpectedly. Great easy hike.

Amazing ambience, pretty quiet and relaxing, good for meditation. I loved the gorgeous rose garden and the lake.
