Old industrial building and gutted, remodeled to house a number of different vendors. Great concept in theory but has been struggling so please support the businesses here. Central Dock is a decent restaurant + bar with great local crafted beers, good burgers and excellent sandwiches and seafood. Nice staff and you can watch a game out of the corner of your eye. Visit Matt's Chocolate Shop next door for excellent hand-crafted ice creams and wonderful locally made chocolates.

If you want to spend the day exploring Vashon Island - a 10 minute ferry ride from Southworth - here is the place to get started or to end your day. Located right at the "downtown" intersection, it's the hub of local life on the island.

A Seattle fav. We saw Tom Douglas walk in and hang out with the chef during peak hour! Lively and packed. Creative Hawaiian-influenced dishes and a huge range of whiskeys! 5 minutes by Uber from the Fauntleroy ferry. Plenty of other restaurants along California, as well.

Excellent Korean-run "Japanese" restaurant. Stick with the sushi and sashimi if you want authentic fare. The "Korean Chirashi" is the best!

Farmer George is famous here on the peninsula. It's a third-generation, unpretentious butcher shop with farm eggs, fresh meats on Thursdays and Fridays. The epitome of local.

FARMER ROSIE'S CAFE: Not to be missed! Farmer Rosie’s is tucked away inside Josephine’s Mercantile, downtown Port Orchard. Farmer Rosie’s serves fresh brewed coffee, delicious home baked sweets and savories, wonderful soups, salads and sandwiches. Owner Cynthia Mora grows organically, bakes with her own hen's eggs, and has the best lattes around. Check their FB page for hours and speciality menu items.
