Wat Huay Monkol Temple
Beautiful grounds, gardens and Buddhist icons surround this enormous statue of one of Thailand's most revered monks. It's about a 30 minute drive but we recommend a visit if you have time and transport.

A lovely little beach nearby with nice sand, good views and several eating venues. Take a hike up the hill at the end of the beach to visit the huge golden Buddha and get a great view.
