Our mostly abandoned Mental Health Facility that was shut down in the 90's. Now most of the grounds are open for the public, as there are some beautiful gardens inside, as well as utilized by the film and tv industry for a spooky setting.

Great area to walk around in if you want quayside sightseeing. Has a few shops, an antique alley, and restaurants. Much closer by than the Lonsdale quay!

This cinema is right off of the New West skytrain station platform, and can even be seen as you are pulling up on the train! Newer built but a little smaller, this landmark cinemas is a great place to see a movie while you're out on a day trip.
