Getting Around
Buy a pass at the window at the station. Swipe the pass at the entrance to the platform when you board and again at the exit of your destination. Just watch everyone else and you'll figure it out. Look out for pick-pockets. Beggars don't expect more than a peso or two, if you're inclined to give.

Shopping
The Puerto de Frutos is a mostly open-air market in the old port of Tigre, where growers used to bring their fruits and vegetables to sell. Now, you can find all kinds of hand-crafted items and lots of other things like mate cups, jewelry, leather products, hammocks, furniture, spices, cheese, food and snacks. There's even a Subway sandwich shop and a Havanna coffee shop, so relax and enjoy!
