I love hiking in Crystal Cove State Park (aka El Moro). You can park free at Coastal Peak Park (corner of Ridge Park Rd & E Coastal Peak in Newport Coast). If you park at the info center, it's $15.

One of my favorite places to walk around is Balboa Island. I love taking the ferry across to the Peninsula to walk around more. $1 for pedestrians. GREAT way to spend a morning, afternoon or evening!

World Class outdoor shopping mall. It is a short walk or car ride from my apartment. Excellent shopping, Dining, Apple Store, Whole Foods Market and more. Children love the koi pond and fountains.
