The Grove is a relatively recent addition to The Farmers Market which was built in the thirties. The Farmers Market is a very cool old Hollywood market with 100 vendors serving all kinds of food from all over the world. The adjacent Grove has many stores and restaurants.

Parks & Nature
This is about a 15 minute walk, very popular, great hikes with a wonderful view of the city as a reward at the end. Once owned by the Irish tenor John McCormack, occupied for a time by Earl Flynn. We first discovered this place in the early eighties before it was a park. We called it the Earl Flynn estate. It had big gates that we would squeeze through to play badminton in the abandoned tennis court, all that remained was the remnants of a burnt out house and empty pool. Today it's one of the best hiking spots in the city!
