Things to do in Toronto
Toronto is a vibrant city with many things to see and do. The diversity
is wonderful with culture that will embrace you. People from all
walks of life, from many different countries, it’s beautiful to see and being a part of.
We have neighborhoods dedicated to countries, Little Italy, Greek town, Polish
town, Little Portugal, China Town, Little Korea, etc. You will be staying in King St.
West, which is the area to be in on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night. If you are
looking to dine, dance, drink, unwind, whatever you want, it’s ALL AROUND US. It’s
also the place to be any other day as you really can’t get any more central than this, you are in the heart!

Toronto is a great walking city. You don’t need to drive. Park
the car get your most comfy shoes on and start strutting.
Uber, Lyft and TTC (our transit system) is readily available.

Places to visit
Most of these places are within walking distance or a quick Uber ride or by public transit $3.25 exact change, always take a transfer receipt that they offer you. We have subways, trolley’s and busses.

I hope you enjoy Toronto as much as we do. It is a great city that is going through a HUGE transformation. Construction and traffic are the norm here and will be for a while, you’ll see cranes everywhere. There are so many more places to see and visit, I’m sure you will venture into them.

CN Tower, Ripley’s Aquarium and St. Lawrence Market, a beautiful long walk. Take Front street and walk east. You’ll walk by the CN Tower, the tall free-standing structure, a great way to see the city from way above. Ripley’s is next to the CN Tower. You will then walk through the financial district and a part of the original downtown which is Yonge Street. Yonge street runs north-south, it is said to be the longest street in the world, walk north and explore. Yonge street divides the city from the east side to the west side. There’s a big mall called The Eaton Centre at Yonge and Queen/Dundas. St. Lawrence Market is at Jarvis/Front.

This is a nice long walk to get to but can be done, you will see many things along the way (4.2km or 2.7mi), it’s about an hour walk. Bloor Street is interesting and one of my favorite streets. It runs east-west and has many options for shopping, people watching and food.
