Nice walk (about 3-4 kms in total) to the old King Erik Menveds castle ruin.
If the wheather is nice it is fine for swimming. Download the app "Kalø Slotsruin":

And with your phone, you can see how the castle was in its prime!
There is ice cream as well to buy at the parking lot.
Beware of cows dropping as the cows are grassing at the spot! :)
Visit the town Rønde (you pass through it on you way) - it is quite nice, with some cafes and great eating places.
