Must see typical Catskills waterfall, tallest falls in the state of Ny. This is a must see destination for any hiker coming to this area. I rank this the #1 reason to come here if hiking is your thing! Park at the upper parking area up the hill after you get to the horseshoe bend on 23a approx 15 mins from the house. There is also anouther trail head there called Kaaterskill Clove. The falls at the horseshoe is just the appetizer. The main event is 1/2 mile up the trail. It is truely spectacular if we have had rain recently. Be very careful on the trail....some experience is required. Don't be a daredevil, there are a few deaths every year when people take risks and go off the trail.
