One of the most popular beaches to surf in Baja Sur is definitely Cerritos Beach. But if you are not really into surfing this is also one of the beaches for swimming in the area, boogie boarding and having a picnic day at the beach!

One of the most popular beaches to surf in Baja Sur is definitely Cerritos Beach. But if you are not really into surfing this is also one of the beaches for swimming in the area, boogie boarding and having a picnic day at the beach!
This is one of our favorite beaches to spend the day. Bring an umbrella, a cooler and a good book because this is a place to spend more than an hour in a very tranquil beach in the area. You´ll have to walk through a palm tree orchard, so bring shoes or sandals. Be mindful always of the currents of the ocean and do not swim far from the shore.

Playa Las Palmas
Todos Santos - La PazThis is one of our favorite beaches to spend the day. Bring an umbrella, a cooler and a good book because this is a place to spend more than an hour in a very tranquil beach in the area. You´ll have to walk through a palm tree orchard, so bring shoes or sandals. Be mindful always of the currents of the ocean and do not swim far from the shore.
If you are into hiking Punta Lobos is a perfect place to start your day or having a momento before sunset. It is an easy 40 minute walk to the top of the mountain that is at Punta Lobos Beach. If you get all the way down you will reach Puerto Viejo (Old Port) it will take you another 40 min to get all the way down! You will hear, and if you are lucky also see, the colony of seal ions that live there. Lovely and easy spot to do your hiking!

A day trip to Balandra is definitely worth doing if you are in Baja California Sur. An hour and 40 minutes from Todos Santos next to La Paz one of the most beautiful beaches of Sea of Cortez where a big stone in a shape of Mushroom makes this place one of the most attractive things to visit. Just chill and enjoy.
