I am a self-proclaimed food enthusiast. Being in Katipunan for most of my life, I can pretty much say that I've eaten at most of the restaurants. With a lot of options in UP Town Center or along Katipunan Avenue, you're surely bound to find something that would fit your needs - may it be a quick breakfast, a lunch eat-out or a romantic dinner date.
Ramen Nagi is one of my favourite ramen houses in the metro. This type of food isn’t just for rainy days. In fact, I enjoy a piping hot bowl even on the hottest days of the year and survive the heat out of sheer love and willpower. I love ramen that much. And I’m pretty sure I’m not the only hardcore ramen lover out there willing to brave the Metro Manila heat just for their favourite bowl. All I can say is, Ramen Nagi's food is delicious and satisfying and in generous servings, too! For their ramen, they give you a little form so you can specify the flavour, richness of taste, heaviness of special sauce, heaviness of garlic, cut of pork, vegetable ingredient, spiciness, and firmness of noodles. My personal favourite is the Butao King that is extra rich and extra heavy on garlic and special sauce with pork shoulder and green onions and with a level 5 spiciness. The type that I order may be too rich for some, so you might want to request normal or light richness. I also love the Red King which is a red-hot spicy miso-based variant for those who like a fiery kick to their taste buds. It has a mix of garlic, chili oil, and cayenne pepper, topped with a miso-infused ball of minced pork. Their sides are also very good. They have sesame cucumber, pork katsu roll, gyoza, and chicken karaage (the latter two being my favourites). Service is very good with the wait staff responding quickly to calls and requests. They will welcome you with an "Irasshaimase!" greeting, which is typical of many Japanese restaurants. One thing that may be off-putting to some is the price as it is a bit on the higher end. Otherwise, Ramen Nagi is a truly wonderful dining experience and will continue to be one of my favourites.

580 pesos per person for an eat-all-you-can Korean grilling. Need I say more? So here it is. There are over 12 appetisers to choose from -- all of which are refillable. The meat choices are expansive as well. There are sausages, beef, pork and chicken. The quality of the meat was something I celebrate. Normally, when I dine in an unlimited samgyupsal place, we'll be served with so-soquality. However, here in Premier The Samgyupsal, the meat were indeed "premier".
