Sightseeing

One of the most beautiful places I've ever seen from its vast glory of tall peaks to the snow covered valley hidden below. With the opportunity to see wildlife up close in their natural habit.

well worth the drive to experience the beauty of Hatchers Pass whether its to explore the mother load mining area or search for the mother load of blue berries hiding just under the leave of the low bush berries. Plenty of hiking or finish the day off driving to the Willow side of Hatchers Pass either way you can't go wrong with the exceptional beauty

The area of Whittier has served for centuries as a passageway between Prince William Sound and Turnagain Arm. The Alaska Engineering Expedition envisioned a rail line out to this largely unsettled area back in 1914, but it was the U.S. Army that made Whittier where and what it is. Whittier’s development can be deciphered in buildings still in use today. Whittier of today is busy in the summer months as a cruise ship port, fishing port, glacier tours due to the vast amount of glacier still visible by marine vessels. Whittier is also known for many species of fish, Shrimping April - September and Hunting a variety of animals.

Excellent choice while strolling downtown Anchorage for the evening. One of the hottest places to grab a bite to eat. Their sweet potato pie is the rave.
