This village of many features is in the heart of the Drôme Provençale: the old town, its famous and popular market, its medieval bridge... Visit the Place des Arcades laid out in the 14th century and devoted to the markets and fairs in Nyons. The Fort quarter also has a medieval air with the Randonne Tower and the Dauphine Tower towering above it.
You can also visit the soap factory and old mills dating from the 18th and the 19th century, situated at the foot of the bridge at the end of the dyke promenade. There, you learn about the operations carried out to make olive oil.

Shopping in Valreas
5 minutes by car, at the entrance to Valreas, you will find a large Leclerc, a para-pharmacy, a hairdresser, a technology store, and a gas station. Opposite the Leclerc, at the roundabout, there is
also a bakery, Marie-Blachère, which has some amazing pastries and bread.
In Valreas you will find tobaccos, pharmacies, doctors, as well as the hospital and EA.

Shopping in Nyons
Nyons is only 10 minutes drive. We recommend you take the superb walk of Nyons and in particular the market, taking place every Thursday and Sunday mornings. On the town hall square you will find the fruit and vegetable market. On the main square, as well as in the pedestrian streets, you will find the Provencal market. Note that it is
difficult to access and park in Nyons on market days!
You will find many shops in Nyons, such as banks, bakeries, pharmacies, doctors, olive oil cooperative, restaurants, butcher, clothing, Carrefour, Intermarché, System U and Monoprix. There is also a hospital.

Canoe adventure:
The descent of the Ardeche River by canoe is quite an experience to do with friends or family. This activity is open from April to September. You should plan to leave early, because it is 30km long and the full day is necessary to do it. There is the possibility to do it in 2 days, with a night in bivouac in the natural reserve of the Gorges de l’Ardèche, or to take a much shorter course if desired.
