Beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge, this trail starts near the golf course in a grove of eucalyptus trees, and follows the dramatic coast out to Sutro Baths and Ocean Beach.

Wide paved road / trail that leads out to the beach. There are trails that splinter off up the hills for dramatic vistas. There are plenty of trails to make this as gentle or difficult as you want.

There is so much to discover in Golden Gate Park, especially on the weekends. Check for free concerts, roller skating, swing dancing, remote control sailing, golf, archery, fly fishing, and more. Don't forget to see the buffalo pen. If you hike out to Ocean Beach, have some food and a beverage at Beach Chalet. They have a great grassy outdoor area, where on some nights have live music. Great for a picnic, and especially great for young children to play while the parents relax. Fun fact: Golden Gate Park is larger than New York City's Central Park.
