Sightseeing
Just a short scenic coastal drive south, is the welcoming town of Laurieton. A small town nestled close to the water with a variety of shops and cafes, great waterways, close beaches and excellent opportunities for walks, picnics and sightseeing.
Well known in the area is The Plaza theatre, built in the 1950's and still has the old world charm of statues and velvet seats and an additional smaller Deluxe Cine Lounge for a more intimate theatre experience. This theatre has a fabulous history, part of which includes one of the earlier projector operators to be Baz Luhrmann and is said to be the place that sparked a career in film for Baz.

This area also has great vantage points for the Whale migration from May to November.
