Go out of house and left (away from town) and after 5 mins on London Road you will get to what is known locally as 'Sixways' good few pubs, and excellent Wine Bar. The Langton good for food and drinks, child and dog friendly There is a chemist, shoe repair, pet store and some lovely little independent stores. (Latchfords is my favourite) Great alternative to going into the centre.

Walking

I love to walk! So I will be filling this section up with nearby and slightly further walks in the wonderful Cotswolds
Great walks close to the house (just drive up Old Bath Road for 5 mins and walk up the hill, or park at the top on Hartley Lane) Best views, all the way across the Cotswolds to the Malverns!

Free things to do!

Cheltenham has so much to offer! Beautiful architecture - check out Montpellier, Cheltenham College and the Town Hall to name a few Great Parks - Pitville Park is stunning with the pump rooms and play parks, it has two good cafes. Boating Lake, small animal enclosures and lots of history Sandford Park is my favourite park in town, close to the Hospital. If you walk right out of my house towards town but take the left hand road Keynsham Road (towards Lido) you will be able to take the scenic park walk into town The Linc sanctuary garden is beautiful, as in the fountain garden
