Really nice trails, both flat and easy as well as more challenging trails. Playground for kids, and a creek to play in. This park is very close.

I enjoy downtown Kirkwood. It's not exactly nearby, but if you are headed that way anyway, it's a nice place for a cup of coffee at Kaldi's. People are normally out and about on pretty days, walking or biking. There are some shops and restaurants. It's about a 20 to 30 minute drive from Barnhart.
