A stone stairway ends at the top of Moro Rock's granite dome. Enjoy views of the surrounding mountains and wilderness to the east. Climbing to the top of Morro rock is exhilarating. There are steps provided all the way to the top. If you’re up for the walk it is well worth it. From the top of Morro rock you have a view for miles. On a clear day it is quite a vision. You can also see the road winding down into Three Rivers.

Zumwalt Meadow in Kings Canyon This 0.8 mile (1.3 km) trail passes high granite walls, lush meadows, and the Kings River. Once a loop trail, natural flooding in 2019 washed away sections of the trail passing through the meadow and paralelling the river. Today the trail crosses the Kings River via an expansion bridge, then offers views of the meadow from a trail passing through wooded areas and talus slopes. Beyond the meadow trail, the trail merges with the Kanawyer Loop trail, continuing another 0.8 miles (1.3 km) towards Road's End and Muir Rock. Trailhead parking is 4.5 miles (7.2 km) east of Cedar Grove Village. Accessibility: From the parking area, the trail to the expansion bridge is relatively level and may be suitable for some wheelchair users. Surfaces are unpaved, and both sandy and not firmly packed in some places. This trail is fairly accessible for wheelchair users from the parking area up to the meadows. The dirt is easy enough to roll on. Once you cross the bridge, the trail narrows a bit and there are some more tree roots and rocks that you may need to dodge. Easy stroll that can be extended into a longer hike towards roads end, or roaring river falls. Keep an eye out for bears.

The deli counter at Totem Market offers traditional deli fare for preparing your own meal or picnic in the park. And we serve fresh prepared meals every day for dining here or to go. As with so many items available from the kitchen, our BBQ tri-tip steak, grilled chicken, and pulled pork, is cooked on site by our barbecue pros. And we have plenty of vegetarian options too. Wine & Beer They have a full wine & beer bar at the Totem with a micro-brewery selection on tap, or in bottles, and fine California wines by the glass and by the bottle. Stool seating is provided at the bar and counters, as well as table seating.
