The Glacier Brewhouse is one of my favorite downtown restaurants. Great food, great atmosphere, and they offer several craft beers brewed right on site. I love their Brewhouse Blonde, one of my local favorites!

If you are looking for a more upscale meal specializing in seafood, this is a great option. They also offer very nice inlet views if you can get a table by a window. Sunday mornings the put on a large Bloody Mary bar in the bar with all the toppings and hot sauces you could ever want. It's a good time!

The Crow's Nest located at the top of the Captain Cook hotel is our go to restaurant for higher end special occasion meals. It offers spectacular views of downtown Anchorage. Bring your VISA, you're going to need it!

Possibly the only Mexican restaurant downtown, La Cabana is conveniently located a short walk from the cottages at 4th Ave and Cordova St. Is it margarita:30 yet?!

This is the closest grocery store to the property, about 9 blocks away. Being the only "large" grocery store in downtown, it is also the oldest in Anchorage. It is small and a little cramped compared to modern grocers, but it has everything you need.

This is a fun little informational trolley ride and tour that runs you around downtown Anchorage and out to Earthquake Park. Trolleys run every 30-60 minutes typically in the summer. Possibly a good activity for a rainy day when you want to stay dry.
