Gee Creek Trail
Gee Creek RoadBeautiful hike along Gee Creek. You won’t be disappointed when you make it up to the waterfall and swimming hole. This trail is a gem. The trailhead is only .07 miles from Fireside Outpost. You can walk or drive to the trailhead.
The bluffs on this trail have some of the most breathtaking views of the Hiwassee Gorge and Cherokee National Forest. This 1.0 mile out & back trail is considered a moderately challenging steep route. It is not a well-groomed trail, and at times, it is hard to follow. It takes approximately 1 hr and gains roughly 580ft of elevation gain. The trailhead parking is 1.6 miles from the cabins at Fireside Outpost.
Chestnut Mountain Bluff
Spring Creek RoadThe bluffs on this trail have some of the most breathtaking views of the Hiwassee Gorge and Cherokee National Forest.
