Beautiful landscaping, nice bike ride close to house, great park for kids, water splash pad, sometimes have bands in park. We take the bikes hereby taking the bike trail along the south side of the airport and then keeping left at the turns going thru the mangroves all the way to the park. Then either continue on to the beaches, Tin City, Riptide brewery and/or Turco Taco

Please note that the pier was damaged during the 2022 hurricane and is currently not accessible, however sunset from almost anywhere on the beaches is still a treat.

They have a good selection of ready to heat food, but Bernie likes that you can have a beer while you shop. Not the cheapest place to shop but it is fun.

It is a bit of a drive, but it is half way between the airport and our home, so if you come in during the day it is right on the way. They have a good selection of ready to heat food, but Bernie likes that you can have a beer while you shop. Not the cheapest place to shop but it is fun.

Cute garden out back, that has separate little areas with umbrellas. We have been here to listen to a small band that was very good and have had some great food from food trucks there.

If you love music check out this sports bar and grill. They play music 5 days a week. On Tuesdays they have a blues jam session, it is fantastic! The bartender was attentive and friendly. Fun to watch folks dance and the food isn't bad either.

There is also a full Service outdoor bar and seating area overlooking the water. Great prices for Happy Hour. Just a warning that parking gets tight if you come by car at times. You can come in by boat if you are with someone that know the area.

If your guy or gal is a motor head you have to stop here. One of the best car museums I've seen. You will need to get tickets ahead of time as they control the number of people going through. There are hard core motor heads that will give you as much background as you can absorb on all the vehicles, or they will just let you walk through unmolested, it is your choice. This is a must if you are a Porsche person. They have some of the most iconic Porsche race cars in the world. They take these cars out to race them all the time, so these are not just trailer queens. Warning, real car people could spend all day here, so plan accordingly.

Better yet if you charter a boat for a day or go on one of the tours, you will get to see the best side of some of these homes from the water side.
