Demonstrating Parisian influences, the Hôtel de Caumont is a mansion built "between court and garden", an architectural design that appeared in Paris in the 16th century.
It's now an art centre. Hotel de Caumont has become a must venue in Aix en Provence
You can extend your visit with a lunch or a coffee / tea break at Café Caumont. The Café Caumont and its terrace overlooks a French garden and it's really beautiful.

Admire this building's extraordinarily unique architecture from the apartment's terrace. The Pavillon Noir was built by the famous architect Rudy Riccioti (the same architect as the Mucem in Marseille). It's the national choreographic centre of the Preljocaj ballet, the contemporary dance company of the famous choreographer Angelin Preljocaj.

The Pavillon Noir was built by the famous architect Rudy Riccioti (the same architect as the Mucem in Marseille). From the terrace, you may hear the opera singers preparing for the upcoming music festival.

Go back to the apartment and cook your fresh products with a nice glass of wine (Coteau d'Aix biensûr !)
