Biking along the beach
On Washington you find a bike rental place (towards the beach) and can either bike all the way to Malibu (1 hour one way and pass Santa Monica and Venice on the way) or go to the other direction to Manhattan, Hermosa, Redondo.

Surfing down the street
Take my surfboard and walk down the street and try surfing. The waves at Dana Point and Malibu are easier than Venice however. Close to Muscle beach there is also a spot which is more for beginners if you are seeking that.

It's a cute and very trendy street with lots of shops and Cafes. I would use Lime to get there. Book restaurants in advance as they have long waits otherwise.

Parking in my building is free of charge
The entire area where you do not need a Fob key is for guest parking (even if it says otherwise). It is never full and you don't have to worry about street parking

Happy Hours
Check out happy hours.
- The Warehouse down the street has a great happy hour from 4-7pm with Mai Tais for 6$
- Islands restaurant just downstairs has sliders for 6$ and beer for 3$ during happy hour
- Buzio is more chic in a hotel and also offers happy hours down the street at the harbour
There are more happy hours, but I have to think about it as a lot changed since Covid

Flips Flips and a light jacket
In my area you can wear flip flops and leggings all the time and everywhere. As my place is so close to the beach I recommend bringing a sweater or jacket, it is usually around the 70's here, 80's if it is warm

as all amusement parks are currently still operating at a fewer capacity I recommend booking them in advance once you know you will be staying here
