This is a great swimming hole to cool off at.
Park at the Huckleberry point parking lot. Be careful to not park along the road because the city of Hunter are ruthless with towing....not nice.
You are going to walk 50 feet north-west of the road to the Huckleberry parking lot where you will see a trail through a field/meadow. From there, you can follow an easy path down to do the waterfall/swimming hole
Water temperature is very dependent on air temperature because of the shallow stream feeding the waterfall.

Classic Woodstock NY hike. It's straight uphill for a couple miles to an old sanatorium followed by one of the best views in all the Hudson Valley. There is always a group of people taking photos of other groups at the top for THE group photo in the Catskills, overlookingt he Ashokan and Gunks. Well worth it, but does require some fitness. Plan on 3 hours round trip.
