Fabulous breakfast and great coffee. A short but very good breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. Just a short walk from here. Head out to the alley and turn right, then left on Ronald and right on South Ave. Go to the lights and you can see Cambie on your left. There is usually plenty of room inside. On a nice day you can sit on the small patio downstairs, or they have a lovely deck upstairs.

Fabulous thai food. Zoo Thai does not take reservations, and it can get busy.
Be careful ordering: they have a 5-star rating for how hot the dishes are. Beyond 3-stars is VERY HOT INDEED.

A new bistro over in the Sawmill District. Excellent food and service. This is a very small place, and it gets full quickly. A reservation is a must.

Bridge Pizza has the best pizza in town, and great pasta and salad dishes too. A 1-mile walk towards the river, Bridge is just south of the Beartracks bridge. Head north (towards the river) on Higgins, and it is the last place on the right hand side before the bridge.
