We love it here - The variety of trees and plants means there is always something to see at any time of year. There are lots of hidden delights and its so peaceful and relaxing. It also has a fab play area for children and its a lovely place to let them burn off some steam. The Birds of Prey and Mammal centre is fab - Wallaby woods is great for getting up close and personal with the Wallabys! You can even feed them by hand!

The Saddle Room is about a 20min drive away up the Dale. It is well worth the journey - the food is absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend the Sunday Roasts! Booking in advance required. The Forbidden corner is based here too so you can combine the two for a fab day out!

There is a circular walk around the reservoir over two dams which takes about 1.5hrs (7.5km) - for the more adventurous you can add on the loop around the second reservoir too! Toilets on site and occasionally the cafe is open but don’t rely on it.
