The Spanish Wells Museum was opened in 1992 by Marvin and Nancy Pinder. The Museum traces Spanish Wells' history from the landing of The Eleutheran Adventurers in 1647 and includes interesting artifacts from the period. To visit the Museum, please make an appointment at The Islander Shop, next door to the Museum.

It is one of the few places on earth where you can compare the rich blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean on one side of the road and the calm Caribbean Sea on the other side, separated by a strip of rock just 30 feet wide.

The Queen's Baths or Hot Tubs, are located 0.6 miles south of the Glass Window Bridge on the rugged Atlantic side of the Eleuthera. These natural pools are filled with dramatic crashing waves, shells, and small sea life that wash over the Atlantic Ocean. Once settled, this crystal clear water is warmed by the sun, creating a bath like temperature tidal pool that's perfect for soaking. The best time to visit the hot tubs is during the low or medium tide. When visiting, it is best to wear water or tennis shoes.

Food Stores
Food Fair has a Pharmacy and is the largest and most well stocked grocery store on Spanish Wells.
Pinder's Supermarket is on the harbour and sells staple food items, also open Monday-Saturday 8am to 5:30pm.
Island Mart is just diagonal to The Islander Shop. It is stocked with all your basics and opens 8-8 daily including Sunday and holidays. It's a very convenient food store!
