Jefferson Street Coffee, roasts each breed of coffee bean differently so the true flavor notes comes out as it is best received instead of a burnt taste. This is a cute place to grab a cup and go for a walk on the Legacy Trail. You may even see the mounted police trott by from their barn next door.

The Kentucky Castle has a great brunch, make sure to snag a reservation. They go fast because it is reasonably priced and a great experience.

Keeneland is open for racing in April and October BUT is available to walk and drive every other month. Check out the morning workouts that go off at 5am and 7am and grab the breakfast burrito from the track kitchen. You will get to feel what Lexington is all about after visiting Keeneland.

Midway is about a 20 minute drive outside of Lexington, it is very cute and a great vacation inside the vacation. Midway Bakery, Holly Hill Inn, Wallace Station and all the restaurants in downtown Midway are great experiences.

LEX is a very small Airport, 1 hour ahead of your flight is ample time. If you have an early morning flight get up with plenty of time since Ubers and Lyfts are not abundant in the mornings.
