If you try to get in the water, just be mindful that the waves can be gnarly, the water is freezing cold and there are undercurrents.

2 miles from the flat (35 minute walk or 5 minute drive). It’s touristy and also chock full of locals like us. There’s stunning views at every turn on the trail including the Golden Gate Bridge.
