The Phoenix Zoo is one of my favorite places to visit! It's a large zoo with many animals to see and it's a great easy-going activity for everyone.
If you fancy sipping on cocktails while checking out the Zoo at night, "Roars & Pours" is a great activity for those 21 and over! This event occurs on a select day each month from October-May (excluding December).
If you happen to be in Scottsdale in Nov-Dec, the PHX Zoo hosts "Zoo lights" which is another evening activity showcasing their version of Christmas lights at the Zoo. This is a great event for couples looking for a date, a family outing, or even a girl's night out!

My family and I have been coming to Fashion Square for over 30 years! From Build-a-Bear to Balenciaga this mall has all of the essentials and is less than 3 miles from the house. Fashion Square is heavily air-conditioned and provides a fantastic escape from the Arizona heat in the summertime.

My family and I love eating at Cornish Pasty Co. because it’s like our own little slice of the UK in AZ. The “Pilgrim” is my personal favorite as it’s basically everything you love about a traditional Thanksgiving meal in a pasty. The drinks at the bar are pretty great here too! Although they are open late, if you are stopping in for dinner I recommend getting here earlier in the evening as sometimes the more popular pasties sell out.
