Sightseeing
You can walk to Russian Jack Springs Park and the city trail system from the house. Step out the front door and take a right. Walk down Ladd Lane to Twinning Drive. Take a left on Twinning Drive and walk three blocks to Craig Drive. Nunaka Valley Elementary will be on your left. Take a right onto Craig Drive and Walk through the tunnel and into the park. Take the paved trail to the T and turn left. Follow the paved trail until you reach the bridge over the Middle Fork of Chester Creek and another T. Take a right and walk up the hill. At the top of the hill is the Chalet and Golf Course. If you follow the road from the Chalet (right) you can walk to the Public Greenhouse (open 8 am – 3:30 pm daily).
Or you can access the trails and explore the area. I would bring a map or your phone to ensure you know where you are going and how to get back. Our trail system is first class and a great way to explore Anchorage and see wildlife. Please be bear and moose aware.

Carrs Grocery Store
Carrs Grocery Store is about a quarter mile walk from the house. Take a right out of the house towards Twinning. Take a right on Twinning and walk until you reach Kelly Circle. Take a left onto Kelly Circle and walk towards the easement. This public easement will take you to the back side of Wells Fargo, McDonalds, Angels Italian Ice, and the Carrs Grocery and Liquor Store parking lot.
