I know, I know, its Wimpy - you can go to a Wimpy anywhere in South Africa... But this Wimpy is literally built hovering over the beach!

Now, when you are in the Eastern Cape they will probably tell you you have to try a Shamrock Pie (available at most of the grocery stores in the area). Shamrock Pies are great, but Wagon Wheel Pies just take it to the next level.
Not only are the pies enormous (I get where the name comes from now), but they are absolutely crammed with delicious filling.
It's a bit of a drive, but if you consider yourself a pie
connoisseur, do it!

If you are staying in Sunrise on Sea, rent a car. There is no Uber and no other taxi services in the area. As you move closer to the city of East London, these services become more prevalent, but in Sunrise on Sea they are unavailable.
